Executive Director / Principal Advisor and Founder of Maxwood Solutions, with over 25 years of experience working with communications equipment and systems; 16+ years of employment in a large electric utility company specializing as a Systems Integrator within the Transmission & Distribution Department; 20+ years involved with Laboratory design, configuration, testing and training; 20+ years deploying field hardware and software; and 20+ years involved with implementing and integrating Cyber and Physical Security System Solutions. This experience naturally lead to becoming a Operational Technology (OT) Consultant.
James is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California and holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Associate Director / Senior ICS Network Engineer with over 35 years’ experience dedicated to computer networking and telecommunications. Michael was a member of the historic AT&T Bell Labs team that built the first IEEE 802.3 implementation of Ethernet over twisted pair. He has spent over 20 years dedicated to delivering secure solutions to the marketplace including critical infrastructure and has assumed many team leadership roles creating innovative testing strategies and environments to perform rigorous testing of complex firmware and networking solutions for large telecom and ICS industries. Michael is passionate as an Industrial Control Systems Consultant that advocates for passive monitoring of OT environments to protect our nation’s utility critical infrastructure. His singular ambition is dedicated to the removal of all roadblocks that obstruct the path to delivering a safe and secure future for our entire country.
